I Can't Stop Watching This Double Speedbump Launch Cars in the Air

Some people who drive Tesla’s give the brand a bad rap for their devout following of Musk almighty and their belief that because they aren’t burning any gas, they can do whatever they like. This Tesla driver found out what happens when you follow those principles.

Sometimes, with the right combination of speed, determination and suspension, you can achieve wonderful things. In this case, wonderful things is safely clearing a set of double speed bumps much faster than the law intended.

You’d have thought if you were driving a pickup with a trailer full of furniture at the back, you’d know to take it easy on the roads. But not this driver, they seem to think tackling the double speed humps head on is the only way to go. Cue a raft of rickety shelving wobbling as it bounces off the bumps.

The PT Cruiser, for one reason or another, is an icon of modern motoring. But even icons can come unstuck by closely-spaced double speed bumps.

Case in point, this gleaming silver example bounces over the first hump before launching into the air as it hits the second. There’s something quite majestic about a mid-flight PT Cruiser.

Where one driver takes it all nice and easy to come out unscathed, the second prefers to take a ‘bandaid ripping’ approach. Full speed ahead, maximum damage and pain for a short period of time. Which approach would you take?

Think you’re safe because you’re on a bus that’s being driven by a consummate professional? Wrong.

Here, the passengers on this minibus were given a rough ride as the driver slams the brakes on before bumbling over the humps. Just another one of the many drivers caught out by the size and arrangement of these two humps.
