Get the Most Out of a Magic Eraser by Adding Vinegar

We’ve previously covered how you can use melamine foam sponges (or, as they are commonly known, “Magic Erasers”) all over the house.

But since posting that video, an insightful commenter suggested adding a few drops of white vinegar to the sponge to boost its erasing power. So we decided to test it, and can confirm it works! It works so well that we highlighted a bunch more uses for it in the video above.

Permanent marker? So long! Crayon marks? Farewell! Dirty microwave? Auf wiedersehen!
