Wendy’s is trying really hard to get you to download their app this month, offering up free food deals every week, provided you place your order via a smartphone. We’ve had free chicken nuggets (today is the last day for those l’il guys), and BOGO for $1 chicken sandwich (that one runs through Feb. 5), and now, Wendy’s is offering a free Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger when you order some fries using their app.
How to get your free Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger
First, you’ll need to download the Wendy’s app and be willing to give them your contact information to register. Log in, then go to the “Rewards Store” section, select “Offers” tab, tap on “free JBC w/Medium or Large Fry purchase,” and select “use in mobile order.” Add a Junior Bacon Cheeseburger and either a medium or large order of fries to your cart. Once you have both items in the cart, tap the bag in the upper right corner, and the reward should show up there.
If you’re having issues, make sure you’re not selecting the “Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe,” which isn’t part of the deal, or contact Wendy’s customer service at 1-888-624-8140. According to the fine print, the offer—which specifies it’s a “one time” deal—allows one free item or discount per customer, per visit, so you can’t combine it with the other freebies mentioned above.

As mentioned, Jan. 23 is also the last day to get free Chicken Nuggets from Wendy’s. Here’s how to take advantage of that deal:
Once you’ve logged in and given your data away, go to the “order,” pick your local Wendy’s, choose between pick-up or delivery, then place an order for a medium or large order of fries. Then add the six-piece chicken nuggets to your cart—the nuggets should automatically be discounted from the total. If not, add them from the “offers” section under the “rewards store,” and they should come out free in the checkout cart.
