McDonald’s “SZN 0f Sharing” is in full force, and this week’s deal features the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, a classic item made of just four ingredients: a potato roll bun, pickles, crispy fried chicken, and salted butter. The featured sandwich is currently offered as a buy one, get one free (BOGO) deal until Dec. 14. Here is how to get yours while you can.

How to get a free Crispy Chicken Sandwich from McDonald’s

From now through Dec. 14, McDonald’s is offering a second Crispy Chicken Sandwich on the house after you buy the first one—but only if you do it through the official McDonald’s app. Depending on where you live, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich will cost anywhere from $5 in Florida to $6.39 in San Francisco. You are limited to one BOGO Crispy Chicken Sandwich per day. (Keep in mind that the Crispy Chicken Sandwich is not available to be ordered after midnight, so there’s no late-night deals for you this time; it is also not available during the breakfast menu, which ends at 10:30 a.m.)

Or try to win your very own McGold card

Another great perk from making purchases within the three-week window of deals from the “SZN of Sharing” is that you automatically are entered for a chance to win the elusive McGold card, which gives you free McDonald’s for “the rest of your life.” (OK, it is really just two meals a week for 50 years, but that’s still more than enough McDonald’s for one life.) If you are curious about that deal and want to see how to get a shot at it (without eating a couple of crispy chicken sandwiches), check out our McGold card post here.
